Emmerdale has confirmed major secrets for two characters. In upcoming scenes, both Liam Cavanagh and Chas Dingle will be forced to hide the truth on separate matters.
It comes amid the Kev Townsend story, with the character currently concealing the truth about his heart condition as husband Robert Sugden is under the impression that he is dying.
However, Kev is just using that as a ruse to keep his husband close, and his condition is actually treatable. GP Liam does know the truth, however, though is unable to tell Robert due to patient confidentiality rules.
In new scenes airing next week, Liam and Chas both hold different secrets from each other, though as they go to confide in one another, they decide to ultimately keep quiet.

"Liam and Chas are one of the village's strongest couples at the moment, and they can usually tell one another anything," our Emmerdale insider said.
"But next week, they are both hiding secrets - and they decide to keep these secrets from their other half. What do Liam and Chas know, and why are they concealing the truth?"
The Kev plot is also set to escalate next week, as his temper explodes over Mackenzie Boyd in the café, as Robert drags him away to calm him down. Robert feels guilty about not being there for Kev, as the latter gets Robert to promise to nurse him until his end.

Robert and Aaron, who have secretly rekindled their affair, are later surprised to see a drunk Kev turn up to Ross Barton's housewarming, as he serenades his husband in an embarrassing moment. Robert later checks on him, unaware that he's carrying a gun.
