Brampton's epic "mansion party" house is back on the market and could be yours for $5.6 million.
The two-storey, 5+2 bedroom home on Stanley Carberry Drive in Brampton's Castlemore Estates area is loaded with high-end features, like a wrought iron gate, hardwood and marble floors, a huge recreation and theatre area, a huge double staircase and vaulted ceilings.
The massive luxury home may look familiar, as it was the venue of a rowdy "mansion party" went viral on social media back on May 2, 2014.
Some 2,000 party goers flocked to the Brampton home, which was at that time still under construction. There were no injuries related to the mansion party but multiple arrests and charges were laid relating to assault and public intoxication.
Peel Regional Police dispatched some 60 units to the home after receiving a noise complaint, and said some party attendees travelled from as far as Hamilton and Oshawa for the event.
The home was listed for sale in February by Home Choice Realty Inc. with an asking price of $5.5 million, and was pulled off the market in April. It was listed again in October for $5.6 million.
The foyer has a soaring 26 feet high ceiling and there are custom wooden doors throughout the home. Other luxury features include a chef's kitchen with high-end appliances and a centre island with marble top, and a primary suite with a sitting room and spa-inspired en suite with a Jacuzzi.
The basement features a home theatre with a concert-insulated ceiling, three walk-outs and room for additional bedrooms, while the outside of the home is finished in stone. There's also a five-car garage and a huge driveway with parking space for up to 25 vehicles.
