I encourage the voters of Aiken City District 6 to vote for Barbara Morgan for city council in the Aug. 12 Republican Primary.
Ms. Morgan is an experienced public servant, having served many years as solicitor for Aiken, Barnwell, and Bamberg counties. She is used to dealing in practical and legal ways with tough issues.
She is a compassionate person; willing to listen to others' points of views and concerns.
District 6 needs representation that is responsive and attentive to constituent concerns. A vote for Ms. Morgan for City Council on Aug. 12 will advance the public good for all citizens of Aiken, in addition to those folks living in District 6.
