"[There were] moments where I was OK, I'm not his biggest fan," Venita exclusively told Us Weekly while attending BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, November 16. "There's other moments when I was feeling like I was the only one trying to still be like, 'Oh hey, maybe we should do lunch or dinner or something.' It just never happens."
Molly O'Connell was alongside her costar while speaking to Us, and explained that Craig can be "so sweet and charming" that they feel bad fighting with him.
"It can't be one sided," Venita continued. "He started the drama by saying that he could never be friends with me in such a public way. That was very hurtful, and I still was trying to. Then I realized. I was like, 'F*** it.'"
The drama between Craig and Venita started late last year following his split from Paige DeSorbo. Craig expressed disappointment in Venita for supporting Paige after their breakup. Venita previously expressed that she was open to mending their friendship. (Venita also confirmed to Us on Saturday that she and Paige are still friends.)
Apparently, BravoCon 2025 didn't help the situation at all.
"He won't even look in my direction. It's fine," Venita continued of Craig's demeanor at the three-day convention in Sin City. "I wouldn't look at someone else either, with greasy hair like that, it's fine. Sorry, I did it."
She added, "Other than that, I liked his outfit last night [at The Bravos]. I just was not feeling [the] hair. He had a beautiful bow tie on, but the hair."
Both Venita and Molly reacted to Andy Cohen's joke about Craig and Paige during The Bravos on Friday, November 14. During his monologue, Andy referred to Craig as a hot jet-setter and host of a successful podcast.
"Oh wait, those are all words to describe Paige," the Bravo boss quipped. Craig could be seen laughing at the dig.
"That was cheeky," Venita told Us. Molly added, "It was cute, he was laughing."
Molly continued to weigh in on the aftermath of Craig and Paige's breakup as well.
"I think he's dealing with it all really well," she said. "He's being very positive about the whole thing, and saying really kind things about Paige. So I thought it was pretty funny."
Venita said she wished Craig "would be more open" about his feelings regarding the split.
"It makes it hard when we don't know how to help him through it," she said of the Southern Charm cast. "Which is why I feel like all of us are constantly butting heads with him, because he kept hiding things. It's like, bro, we're here for you if you let us be."
Molly added, "Maybe he shut down a little bit, clammed up a little bit."
Aside from having fun at BravoCon this year, the two are gearing up for the Southern Charm season 11 premiere next week.
"I think we all should be nervous watching back this season, if I'm being honest," Venita said. "This season feels like old Charm, where we really get down and dirty and gritty. We are biting each other, tooth and nail fighting, then we come back. I feel like everyone should just be a little nervous to see the things that people said about them."
