The Minnesota Twins are coming off one of the biggest collapses in franchise history, but if you're a gambler, there are some intriguing betting odds for Minnesota in 2025.
The Twins ranked 13th in ESPN BET's opening World Series odds for the 2025 season, giving Minnesota a 30-to-1 chance to win the title next season. Minnesota's chances are slightly better to win the American League pennant, ranking seventh with 12-to-1 odds.
Throwing some money down on the Twins would require some optimism, though.

The Twins held a double-digit lead in the American League Wild Card race last August but lost 27 of their final 39 games to finish the season with a record of 82-80.
The Twins did not make any major changes after the season with manager Rocco Baldelli and President of Baseball Operations Derek Falvey returning, but they've begun part of the process as general manager Thad Levine left at the end of his contract and they declined options on Manuel Margot and Kyle Farmer earlier this week.

Still, there's a leap of faith involved on betting on the Twins, who reportedly will not reduce payroll after slashing it by $30 million last season but has not guaranteed that it will go up even as the Pohlad Family announced they are putting the team up for sale last month.
ESPN BET currently has the Los Angeles Dodgers as favorites to repeat at +400 odds followed by the New York Yankees (+700), Atlanta Braves (+750), and Philadelphia Phillies (10-to-1). The Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros and New York Mets are tied for fifth with 12-to-1 odds.
The Twins will open the 2025 regular season when they travel to face the St. Louis Cardinals on Mar. 27.
