The Environmental Protection Agency is investigating the Albuquerque City Council for possible human rights violations.
The investigation comes after the Mountain View Neighborhood Association filed a pair of civil rights complaints in May and June 2024 against the City Council and the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board over the area's air quality.
