A barn between Walkersville and Woodsboro burned down on Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to a barn fire on Links Road just past 3 p.m. When responders arrived, the barn, which had equipment inside, was burning and the fire was spreading to a second building, according to a Facebook post from the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services.
Approximately 50 responders took two hours to put out the fire, according to the post. No injuries were reported and the Frederick County Office of the Fire Marshal is investigating the fire, according to the post.
The other building sustained minor damages, according to DFRS spokesperson Sarah Campbell.
