The Flaming Onion is opening soon in McKinney.
The restaurant is the first location in the United States for the restaurant from New Zealand. The concept, created by Executive Head Chef Rav Thota, offers flame-grilled beef burgers as well as veggie burgers and chicken burgers. The menu also features loaded fries, nachos and onion rings, according to the eatery's website.
A soft opening event on Jan. 16 will feature special offers for customers, a representative of the business said.
