Yellow warning in place for coastal overtopping

Yellow warning in place for coastal overtopping

A yellow weather warning has been declared on the Isle of Man.

Ronaldsway Met Office said continued strong south-westerly winds would mean coastal overtopping and the depositing of minor debris around the next tide at 14:25 BST.

The weather warning, which is in place until 16:00, is expected to particularly affect Castletown promenades, Shore Road in Rushen and the northern end of Douglas promenade.

Two yellow weather warnings for coastal overtopping and inner harbour flooding were in place on Tuesday into Wednesday amid strong winds and particularly high tides.
