Decagon announced a new commercial pilot with Deutsche Telekom, along with a strategic investment from T.Capital, the corporate venture arm of Deutsche Telekom. The announcement was made at Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, where Decagon is delivering featured discussions on enterprise AI adoption and customer service transformation.
Deutsche Telekom is the world's largest telecommunications provider by revenue, serving hundreds of millions of customers globally. Its venture arm, T.Capital, invests in companies aligned with Deutsche Telekom's strategic product and technology priorities. The investment is intended to support Decagon's ongoing enterprise expansion as it brings AI-driven concierge customer experience agents to large-scale commercial environments.
Decagon positions its conversational AI agents to help enterprises automate and enhance their customer engagement across various channels, including chat, email, and voice. The commercial pilot with Deutsche Telekom will evaluate how Decagon's technology can streamline customer experience workflows and enhance digital service responsiveness.
The partnership also strengthens Decagon's global expansion efforts. The company has grown quickly since its founding in 2023 and launch in 2024, establishing offices in San Francisco, New York City, and London to support its enterprise customer base. As part of Web Summit 2025 programming, Decagon co-founder and CEO Jesse Zhang is featured on both the AI Summit Stage and Centre Stage for sessions focused on enterprise deployment of AI agents and operational transformation.
Decagon states that the momentum of enterprise adoption is accelerating as customer expectations shift toward more personalized, on-demand, and consistent support across communication channels.
