Two Dead, Two Seriously Injured in County Meath Crash
Two people have died in a crash involving a lorry, a bus and a car in County Meath.
The driver of the lorry, a man in his 40s and the driver of the bus, a man in his 50s, died in the three-vehicle collision on the R132 at Gormanstown at around 6:30am on Monday.
A woman in her 40s, who was driving the car, has been taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The passenger in the car, a teenage girl, was initially taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
She's since been transferred to Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin to be treated for serious injuries.
A number of others suffered injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The road is closed pending a technical exam by Gardaí, and witnesses are asked to come forward.
Bus Éireann has confirmed one of its buses was involved in the crash.
A company spokesperson said, "Bus Éireann can confirm one of our route 101 services has been involved in a critical road traffic collision involving other vehicles in the Gormanstown Cross area of county Meath this morning, 24 November 2025.
Emergency services and Bus Éireann personnel are currently at the scene.
We will provide further information as it becomes available."
A Garda Spokesperson said, "Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the R132, at Gormanstown, Co. Meath, between 5.45am and 6.45am this morning, Monday 24th November 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
