Steve Ogg, the actor behind Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V, has said that he'd like to see his character make a cameo appearance in the beginning of Grand Theft Auto VI, where he reckons it would be good to have him killed off.
Speaking with ScreenRant, Ogg suggested that having Trevor killed off in the opening moments of GTA VI would be a way of passing the torch to a new generation.
It would be fun if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning. I think that would be cool. Because it also acknowledges the fans... like 'Hey, thank you. Pass the torch, stomp Trevor's head in, and sort of put an end to that and allow a new generation to take over'.

While we're on the subject of Trevor, Ogg revealed last year that Rockstar Games was working on DLC for GTA V that would have put Trevor at the forefront. The developer had already shot some content for the expansion Agent Trevor, which would have seen the character working as an undercover agent of sorts, but it was scrapped alongside two other DLCs.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently in production for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a release due for Fall 2025. Recently, an analyst claimed there was 'hope' in the industry that the game may retail for $10 to combat rising development costs, although Mat Piscatella of Circana among others have dismissed this as 'ridiculous.'
