About 100 students from Apollo High School will raise money for cancer treatment Sunday, when the students hold their annual DanceBlue Marathon from 4 p.m. to midnight at AHS.
The event is a fundraiser for DanceBlue Kentucky Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic at the University of Kentucky. The annual event, which spreads beyond Apollo to AHS feeder elementary and middle schools, raises thousands of dollars annually for the pediatric cancer treatment center.
