"I have to keep in mind that what people were fed, and this propaganda against me over the years about, 'Puffy did this and adopted your kid,'" the singer continued. "There's no adoption. None. And if you haven't noticed, his name is still Brown."
Meanwhile, Combs' team has refuted the allegations made in the film.
"This documentary recycles and perpetuates the same lies and conspiracy theories that have been slung against Mr. Combs for months," his legal team said in a statement to E! News. "It is disappointing to see NBC and Peacock rolling in the same mud as unethical tabloid reporters. By providing a platform for proven liars and opportunists to make false criminal accusations, the documentary is irresponsible journalism of the worst kind."
Following Combs' arrest in September 2024, speculation about the circumstances of Porter's passing resurfaced, leading Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D'Lila to speak out about the allegations.
"While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established," the siblings wrote in a statement posted on Instagram at the time. "There was no foul play."
"Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind and loving woman she was," they continued. "Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories."
