Hours of heavy rain looms for Coventry and Warwickshire over the next 48 hours. The latest colour-coded Met Office weather map shows a band of heavy rain set to soak our area tomorrow afternoon, Friday, December 5.
It is set to remain for several hours, into the evening, with strong winds too. There will be some heavy showers today, December 4, according to the latest local forecast.
It is set to fall this morning before drier weather and some bright spells this afternoon. After a chilly start, the rain will return tomorrow, with the heaviest from around 5pm.

It is set to be an 'unsettled' weekend with more rain showers. However, the forecast states that it will feel milder but it will be breezy. The latest local forecast over the coming days is as follows:

A wet and windy start with a band of rain clearing eastwards through the morning. Turning drier into the afternoon with some brighter spells developing. Temperatures near average with winds easing. Maximum temperature 8C.
Tonight
Dry this evening with clear skies into the night, though some cloud and rain building in the west by dawn. Turning colder with the risk of frost and fog. Minimum temperature -1 C.
Friday
A chilly start with any fog soon clearing. Brighter spells for a time before turning wet and windy during the afternoon with heavy rain and stronger winds arriving. Maximum temperature 8C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
Remaining changeable this weekend and into next with showers on Saturday. Unsettled again on Sunday with longer spells of rain, then somewhat drier on Monday. Milder but often breezy.
