A tractor-trailer caused major damage and danger Monday morning, Nov. 4 in East Rutherford.
According to the fire department, the vehicle struck a pole at Paterson Avenue and Herman Street around 11:50 a.m.
"The impact caused significant damage, resulting in additional telephone poles being affected and damage to other vehicles," the department said.
The borough police and fire departments responded, as did the county's HazMat team and PSE&G.

The roadway will be closed until PSEG crews can safely complete repairs.
