Anthony Davis hasn't been ruled out for the Lakers' next game; could be day-to-day

Anthony Davis pulled up lame with a foot injury in the late stages of the Los Angeles Lakers' 115-103 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Monday. Although he was able to finish the game and scored 37 points, he sounded concerned afterward about the prognosis regarding his ailment.

He said it is an injury he has been dealing with since the summer, when he helped Team USA men's basketball win an Olympic gold medal alongside Lakers teammate LeBron James.

Even though he was clearly hampered and in pain during crunch time, he may not miss L.A.'s next game, which will take place against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

The superstar big man is leading the NBA in scoring with an average of 32.6 points a game, and he's shooting a sizzling 57.1% from the field. The Lakers are now 4-3 and 1-3 on this current five-game road trip following Monday's loss.
