The Marketplace automatically enrolled me in something called Molina Healthcare. I didn't want Molina Healthcare. I found I can't use healthcare.gov anymore, and would have to do all my health insurance through Get Covered Illinois. Fine. I went to Get Covered Illinois, looked at all of the available plans, and chose a BCBS plan (don't tell me BCBS sucks - they all suck). After enrolling in BCBS, I was sent a paper bill for my January premium. Monday, I received a bill (via snail mail) for Molina's January premium, due 12/31. I assume this was in error, and will be calling them tomorrow.
Yesterday, I received a bill (via snail mail) for CIGNA'S January premium, as magically at the last moment Cigna and Get Covered Illinois apparently came to an agreement. I am now enrolled in three different Marketplace health care plans, even though I only chose one. This is for all intents and purposes insurance fraud.
Is there some number to call to reach a person who can fix all of this, or do I need to spend all of tomorrow on the phone waiting for customer service at three different health insurance companies?
