Gemma Collins suffers photo-editing fail and looks unrecognisable

Gemma Collins suffered a photo-editing fail as she looked almost unrecognisable during a winter trip on Thursday.

As she posed in her ski gear on the slopes, the TV personality, 44, left fans baffled with the snap.

Gemma wrapped up warm in a festive, bright red padded coat, which she teamed with a white fur hat.

She completed her look with a pair of gold Moon Boots and held her matching red skis in her hand.

'Tis the season,' Gemma captioned the Instagram post.

But her followers were confused at her appearance, with one commenting: 'What's wrong with your face ? That isn't you.'

Elsewhere, Gemma has revealed she is now microdosing on Mounjaro after fearing the weight loss jab had left her with 'agonising' health woes.

The TOWIE star revealed to the Daily Mail last month that she had a 'gallbladder attack' in August after dropping to the floor in pain.

The star has gone from a size 26 to a size 20 and lost 3.5st since taking the jab, and now Gemma has revealed she is back on the jab after taking a break.

'I had to stop the jabs for a bit because I had a gallbladder attack in August, but they've assured me that it's not actually linked to Mounjaro,' Gemma told The Mirror.

'I've given it a rest and I've really been managing what I've been eating. But I think I'm going to start microdosing because I feel with the microdosing, you don't get all the [side] effects.'

Gemma followed the guidance to increase her dosage incrementally, from the starting dose of 2.5mg, to the maximum dose of 15mg a week.

But she now confirmed she will be sticking to the 2.5mg dosage as that was her favourite amount.

Hailing the drug as 'life changing' she continued: 'I've lost about 3½st and kept it off. I just feel good. I'm never going to look stick thin. I don't want to look stick thin. It's not who I am. But it's about being healthier. So it's all going in the right direction.'

Her end is goal is to lose 6st in total from her original weight but she isn't in any rush to drop the weight dramatically.

One of the reported common side effects to taking Mounjaro is gallstones, according to Superdrug doctor Dr Babak Ashrafi.

He wrote on the company website: 'Gallbladder problems such as gallstones or inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis) are rare but serious side effects of Mounjaro.

'GLP-1 inhibitors like Mounjaro can cause gallbladder problems because they can reduce the amount of a hormone called cholecystokinin, which is important for healthy gallbladder function.'

The Mounjaro patient leaflet also warns gallstones is a common side effect.

A spokeswoman for Eli Lilly, which makes Mounjaro, told the publication that patient safety is their top priority and they actively monitor, evaluate and report safety information for all their medicines to [regulatory agency] MHRA.

While Gemma has proudly displayed the results of her weight loss, she also suffered from a more immediate side effect from the jabs.
