RJ Barrett's return to NBA action is a big step closer.
The Toronto Raptors announced Monday that the veteran wing will "return to play activities" this week as he continues recovering from a right knee sprain suffered Nov. 23.

Barrett got a platelet-rich plasma injection last week to hasten his recovery. The Raptors have been 3-6 in nine games since he was injured in a game against the Nets.
