Bruce Springsteen was spotted visiting the New Jersey set of the Deliver Me from Nowhere and hugging White, the 33-year-old actor who will portray Springsteen in the biopic, on Monday, Nov. 4.
The upcoming movie, which will chronicle Springsteen, 75, making his 1982 album Nebraska, is adapted from Warren Zanes' 2023 rock biography, Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska.
In the set photos, The Bear star wore black Levi's jeans, a black leather jacket and black leather boots. Meanwhile, Springsteen wore a red and gray flannel coat, dark blue jeans, dark boots, a gray scarf and black Wayfarer sunglasses.
In one photo, director Scott Cooper joined the pair for a conversation.
White was photographed on Oct. 28 in two different looks. He was seen in blue jeans, dark boots and a flannel-lined jacket on set in Montclair, N.J. He was also seen in a black leather jacket and matching scally cap. The latter outfit resembled what he wore in the movie's first official image, which was also released that day.
White was first reported to be in talks to portray Springsteen in March. Since then, White has shared how excited he is to be part of the production.
"Bruce has been really lovely and supportive and available, which has made this whole process I think such an extra joy that we have his support and Jon Landau -- his manager's -- support, who has a large role in the film, as well," White said at 76th Emmy Awards in September.

During the Oct. 18 episode of The Graham Norton Show, Springsteen said "[White] is a great actor and sings pretty good."
"This is not easy to do because you can't do an imitation," Springsteen said of how White will tackle portraying him and singing in his voice. "You have to do a personal interpretation."
Alongside White, Deliver Me from Nowhere stars Jeremy Strong as Springsteen's longtime mentor and manager, Jon Landau, while Paul Walter Hauser will appear as guitar tech Mike Batlan.
Odessa Young will portray Springsteen's love interest Faye. Stephen Graham is set to play Springsteen's father and Johnny Cannizzaro will take on E Street Band member and guitarist Steve Van Zandt.
