Magic Johnson betrays Shohei Ohtani and shows his new favorite Dodgers star

World Series. Dodgers under fire for ignoring Alex Vesia in World Series celebration

Magic Johnson knows what it feels like to win championships - first as a player and now as an investor. Years after lifting trophies with the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA legend joined the Dodgers' World Series parade to celebrate another title and made it clear who his favorite player is, at least for now.

"Had a great time today in my 12th Championship parade! What made it so special is the fact I got to enjoy it with my beautiful wife Cookie and my two grandchildren Gigi and Avery! We were hanging out with Dodger great and World Series MVP pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto," Johnson posted.

He also thanked the more than 50,000 fans who packed Dodger Stadium for the celebration.

"Thank you for saluting the players, manager Dave Roberts, and the entire ownership group. Thank you thank you thank you!!"

The former Lakers point guard joined the ownership group, Roberts, and the players in the latest victory parade - but he wasn't the only celebrity lighting up Los Angeles.

Actor, comedian, and lifelong Dodgers fan Anthony Anderson helped introduce the 2025 World Series champions. The Black-ish star and The Departed actor proudly wore his Dodgers jersey and hyped up the crowd by shouting "Not Like Us", a playful jab at Drake, the Blue Jays' most famous fan, and a nod to Kendrick Lamar's hit song.

Anderson wasn't alone. Manager Dave Roberts called on rapper, actor, and director Ice Cube to present the 2025 World Series trophy. Cube rolled onto the field in style - driving a customized 1965 Chevrolet Impala decked out in Dodgers colors.

The parade delivered countless viral moments - from Kiké Hernández dropping expletives to Blake Snell joining the "6-7" craze that took over social media.

Now, the Los Angeles Dodgers are dreaming big: becoming the first L.A. franchise since Magic Johnson's Lakers to win three straight championships, a feat not achieved since the late 2000s.
