Ritika Nayak's career took a significant turn after her performance in Mirai, which demonstrated her ability to leave her mark in Tollywood.

Ritika Nayak played a prominent role in Teja Sajja's Mirai, a Telugu fantasy film that debuted in theatres on September 12. The film has garnered attention for its spectacular effects, daring plot, as well as Ritika's stellar performance, leaving fans eager about her whereabouts.

The actress captivated fans with her striking screen presence and refreshing performance, instantly becoming fans' favourite.

Ritika was born into a middle-class Odia family and hails from Delhi. She finished her education at Safdarjung Enclave's Delhi Police Public School. She has completed her graduation from Delhi University.

Following her studies, she started modelling in 2019. The actress made headlines after she won the Delhi Times Fresh Face Season 12 title. She also became a finalist in Miss Diva 2020.

Ritika then entered the film industry, making her Telugu film debut with Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam in 2022. In addition to receiving praise from the audience, her portrayal of Vasudha led to her being nominated for the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut in Telugu.

Her career took a significant turn after this performance, which demonstrated her ability to leave her mark in Tollywood. She was then contacted for Hi Nanna (2023). She was initially approached by director Shouryav for the part of Mrunal Thakur's younger sister.

She didn't realise she could pursue acting as a serious career until she entered and won modelling competitions while still in college.

Strong female characters in Bollywood, particularly Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, serve as inspiration for Ritika. Ritika, a newcomer without any film family ties, can relate to both actresses' successful careers being built without industry support.

Ritika's latest credits include Mirai, which opened in the theatres with Rs 12 crore net in India. The film follows a young warrior who is tasked with protecting the nine sacred scriptures that can transform any mortal into a deity. The film explores human values and emotions such as compassion, ethics, hatred, and greed.
