Toy Story is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and a new Buzz Lightyear figure has landed at Disney World just in time.

This limited edition talking figure celebrates the 30th anniversary of Toy Story. Buzz Lightyear wears a shiny chrome space suit in honor of this big milestone. He is freestanding and fully articulated, which makes him great for playing or posing for a display.
There are five different interactive features, which are activated by pushing the buttons. The features include 15 different voice phrases, flashing lights, laser sounds, a wing release, a retracting helmet, and a karate chop arm motion.
You can't see it, but Buzz has Andy's signature on the bottom of his right foot. He also comes in a commemorative box designed like his packaging in the films - wings included. The back of the box says:
Buzz Lightyear here, I am stationed in the Gamma Quadrant of sector 4. As a member of the elite Universe Protection Unit of the Space Ranger Corps, I protect the galaxy from the threat of invasion from the Evil Emperor Zurg, sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance.

30th Anniversary of Toy Story
There are several other commemorative items to celebrate the film's 30th anniversary. So far we have only spotted the Buzz Lightyear figure in the parks, but the collection also includes an ornament, mug, MagicBand+, and figure set. These are all available online.
Toy Story premiered in theaters in 1995 and is the first full length animated movie from Pixar and Disney. Woody has always been Andy's favorite toy, but he feels jealous when Andy gets a new Buzz Lightyear toy for his birthday. The two must work together to make it back home in time for Andy to move to a new house, or else they get left behind.
Since then, the film franchise has only gained popularity. Disney recently shared the first images of Woody and Buzz as they appear in Toy Story 5.
