A Swindon preschool has made a generous donation to support its local community pantry.
St Philip's Preschool, as part of its Harvest Festival, gifted a variety of goods to Stratton St Margaret Parish Council's community pantry, which is based at the Community Hub inside Beechcroft Library.
The pantry serves to support residents within the parish who are struggling to pay for groceries.
A spokesperson from the parish council expressed gratitude towards the preschool, saying: "Your kindness and community spirit helps to stock our Community Pantry, supporting local residents who need a helping hand."
The pantry's opening times are Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm and Fridays from 1pm to 3pm.
The aim of the pantry is to alleviate food deprivation within the parish, providing a resource for residents in need.
The parish council collaborates with various other local organisations to ensure the pantry remains stocked.
The parish council expressed its gratitude to the preschool via a post on social media, saying: "A super huge thank you to St Philip's Preschool for their wonderful donations as part of their Harvest Festival.
