Veteran Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce potentially played his last game at Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs suffered a 20-13 loss against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.
Kelce has been a subject of retirement rumors since the Chiefs' Super Bowl loss against the Philadelphia Eagles in February. However, the rumors have intensified after Kansas City was eliminated from the playoff race earlier this month.
Chiefs defensive tackle and Kelce's longtime teammate, Chris Jones, urged the Pro Bowl tight end to consider his potential retirement decision.
"He's been like a brother," Jones said. "I hope he gives it one more year, just one more."
NFL fans reacted to Jones pleading with his Chiefs teammate over his potential retirement.
"Taytay wants him at home."
"It looking like it's over 😢 Taylor made him choose up."
"Yall just asked him tho like 2 days ago, leave the man alone and that question alone."
"This dumba** didn't even know they were out of playoffs and wants kelce to take another year of his life for him."
"I feel he finna do the Gronk and comeback either mid season or once 15 back"
"One more dance."
Following the loss, Chris Jones and George Karlaftis were seen waiting for Travis Kelce on their way to the locker room.
