Veteran coach Pitso Mosimane has sent a message to Kaizer Chiefs amid the speculation linking him with a move to the South African giants.
Veteran coach Pitso Mosimane has opened up about his coaching future amid speculation linking him to South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Mosimane is among top coaches who have been linked to the Kaizer Chiefs job since Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi left the club for unclear reasons.
The 61-year-old has been without a job since leaving Iranian side Esteghlal FC in January this year and he ticks most boxes for Chiefs, who are crying out for a no-nonsense, experienced and highly successful coach like him.

Chiefs are currently struggling for consistency after the club opted to elevate Nabi's assistants Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze as co-coaches until the end of the season but the two have overseen just four wins in 14 games across all competitions, drawing seven and losing three.
That has led to calls from a number of ex-players and pundits for Chiefs to hire Mosimane and the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach has commented on how he sees the situation.
"At the point I am, I don't apply for jobs and that's not being egoistic. It's about the plan and you must show me the plan," Mosimane said on South Africa's Radio 2000 as quoted by Afrik-Foot.
Mosimane admits he has received several offers from African clubs and those in the Middle East but he is not in a hurry to take up a new project unless it aligns with his vision.
"Almost every second week, there's a team that's available and asks if we can work together. You can't tell me that in Africa, there's no team I can't coach and even in the Gulf region I do have options," he added.
Commenting on his chances of coaching in South Africa, possibly Kaizer Chiefs, Mosimane seemed to issue a 'come get me plea' to the Glamour Boys.
"I can't say I will never coach again at home. I will coach any team in the country that shows me why I need to come here and what you would bring to the table," he said, expressing a desire to take on a club with ambitions.
"I was at Sundowns for eight years and SuperSport United for six years, and you must have a plan. It's not about today or tomorrow, it takes time."
Mosimane is widely regarded as one of the most successful coaches in Africa, having won three CAF Champions League crowns, two with Al Ahly and one with Sundowns, while he led the Brazilians to five South African league titles.
