The Forge is an action RPG where players mine ores across different regions to craft weapons and armor. With the first major update, the developers have introduced the Frostspire Expanse, a frigid island that also features the limited-time Christmas Event. Players can gather a variety of ores with high multipliers that guarantee the creation of powerful equipment when used in forging.
This guide tells you about all the ores available in Frostspire Expanse.
The Frostspire Expanse has two mining locations, namely the Cave and the Peak. You'll need at least an Arcane Pickaxe to start mining ores in the cave. However, for stronger rocks such as Ice Boulders and Medium Ice Crystals, consider buying better tools from Miner Fred's Shop on the new island.
Players can acquire 14 different ores from the cave in Frostspire Expanse. Their names, rarities, multipliers, sale value, and availability are listed below:
The Peak is an endgame location. Although it contains ores with extremely high multipliers, they require strong pickaxes to be mined. Use our pickaxe tier list to learn about the top equipment for this area.

Frostspire Expanse can be accessed from the Portal that was given by the Wizard NPC during the tutorial. Only players who are Level 70 or beyond can enter this region, a significant leap from the Level 10 requirement of the Forbidden Kingdom.

The best ore that can be mined from this cave is Iceite. It has a 10.5x multiplier and a sale price of almost 197 Gold.
The Velchire ore, when used in forging, can give up to 20% movement speed boost to a piece of equipment.
