Excitement at fever pitch as Home and Away star arrives in Kilkenny

Home and Away star Lynne McGranger (the longest-serving female actor in an Australian drama) said goodbye to her beloved character Irene Roberts earlier this year

After over 30 memorable years on Home and Away, Lynne McGranger bid farewell to her beloved character Irene Roberts earlier this year.

McGranger holds the accolade of being the longest-serving female actress in an Australian drama and was one of the longest-serving Home and Away cast members.

As she begins a new chapter in her life, Lynne will be in The River Court Hotel in Kilkenny City tonight (Monday) at 7.30pm for an unforgettable evening featuring a live Q&A, the chance to meet her in person, snap a photo together, and pick up exclusive signed merchandise.

This event will celebrate Lynne's journey on Home and Away, hear about her favourite storylines over the years, and a chance for fans to say farewell to a TV legend.

Interestingly, Lynne will not be the first Home and Away star to visit Kilkenny this year.

Back in June, John Palmer (aka Shane Withington) sampled a piece of Kilkenny life whilst on holiday, visiting Kilkenny Castle before stopping off for some lunch in Kytelers Inn.
