MONEY is being raised to support children in need at Dorset County Hospital this Christmas.
PORTLAND's Heights Hotel is once again hosting 'Jingle All The Way,' a group of motorcyclists dressed as Santas and elves who deliver donated presents to the children's Kingfisher ward at the Dorchester hospital.
Taking place on Saturday, December 13, Operation Jingle All The Way will see more than 50 festively dressed riders ride off from the hotel to the hospital.

Last year they raised £2,231.25 and delivered enough toys and gifts to the children, to fill two hospital cages.
This year, on top of delivering toys, money is being raised for two special young boys who are in desperate need of specialist equipment.

Alex, who was born prematurely in November 2022 and diagnosed with Med13L, a rare genetic disorder in 2024 is in need of a new sensory wall.
He is non verbal and non mobile has narrowed nasal passages and suffers from recurrent upper respiratory tract infections which has led to many stays the Kingfisher ward Kingfisher ward.
He is a happy loving boy who loves musical instruments the most, sensory toys, and lights and bubble tubes. He also loves sitting on his mum's motorbike and going to see different animals at farms and parks.

In addition to this, money raised will be used to get seven-year-old Logan an all terrain wheelchair.
He was diagnosed with hypermobility just after his first birthday which means his legs bow and his ankles dislocate.
With the pain and constant effort it takes for Logan to walk just a short distance, he becomes exhausted and needs a wheelchair to get out and about and without a wheelchair his quality of life is hugely impacted - but through all of his ups and downs, he remains loving and happy.
