HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a serious crash in Hartford on Christmas night.
First responders were called to the area of Cornwall Street after a report of a collision involving entrapment, according to the fire department.
When crews arrived, they saw four people that were in need to be removed from the vehicles including one child and two teenagers.
CPR was performed on two of the occupants and additional agencies were requested due to serious injuries.
Officials said four people were transported to a nearby hospital.
Eyewitness News also arrived on scene and saw the two cars involved were heavily damaged.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
No further details were released.
