What's happening in Buffalo Niagara business?

A look at some of the events on tap for Buffalo Niagara:

The annual Buffalo Labor Day parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday and follow a route along McKinley Parkway, Red Jacket and Warren Spahn Drive.

The state Energy Planning Board will host a public hearing on the draft state energy plan 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Buffalo and Erie County Library main branch. Registration is available online.

The Buffalo AKG will host the museum's September First Friday event starting 3 p.m. Friday, where visitors can enjoy an array of programming that will get them ready for the Buffalo Bills season opener a few days later.

That includes drawing with former Bills linebacker Aaron Maybin, Bills logo shave haircuts by barber Justin "Uncle JuJu" Hawkins, a tour through the artwork of Patti Thomas, the wife of Bills legend Thurman Thomas and making Bills gameday posters. Performing on the Great Lawn will be Tru Journey, a singer and DJ.
