Aldi brings back 'best ever' Baileys dupe inspired by Quality Street favourite

ALDI is bringing back the "best ever flavour" Baileys dupe for half the price of the original.

The popular flavour was inspired by an iconic Quality Street chocolate.

Aldi's fan-favourite Ballycastle Chocolate, Hazelnut & Caramel Country Cream is back on shelves.

The Ballycastle smoothly blends caramel, milk chocolate and roasted hazelnut flavours to create a silky and sweet treat.

The indulgent flavour has often been compared to Quality Street's Purple One.

It's the perfect drink to mix in hot chocolate or pour over ice to enjoy a cosy night in.

The Bailey's dupe has made a return after fans flooded social media asking for its comeback.

The Aldi Shoppers Facebook group has been buzzing with demands, as one fan wrote: "It's the best flavour ever, I wish they would bring it back!"

Another one added: "I am waiting for this to come back, so many people have said it's the best and I want to try it!"

Priced at £7.29 for a 70cl bottle, the festive tipple is just a third of the price of Bailey's.

In comparison, a 50cl bottle of Chocolate flavoured Bailey's will set you back £17 at Sainsbury's.

This means, you'd have to fork out £23.8 for the same volume as Aldi's dupe.

Aldi has also launched other seasonal flavours just in time for celebration.

Ballycastle Chocolate Clementine Flavour Country Cream is reminiscent of Bailey's x Terry's Chocolate Orange Irish Cream Liqueur.

It blends zesty orange with rich milk chocolate and is retailing at just £7.29 compared to Bailey's £16.50 price tag.

Ballycastle White Chocolate Flavour Country Cream is also priced the same but boasts smooth notes of vanilla and creamy white chocolate.

Aldi's dupes

Aldi is bringing back a budget version of Jo Malone's advent calendar.

The bargain retailer is bringing back its Hotel Collection Candle Advent Calendar which is £300 cheaper than the posh brand.

The great offer has been launched in stores across the country from Sunday, October 26.

For sweet-toothed Brits, the supermarket has brought back Kevin the Carrot advent calendar described as a "seasonal sellout."

Behind each door, customers will find a chocolate member of Kevin's extensive vegetable family.

The German discounter has also launched a dupe of a popular M&S and Tesco viral treat.
