The IDPs particularly women and children were seen leaving without food and lack of access to clean water.
The village head of Kunini, Umaru Ibrahim, told our correspondent in his house that all water sources within the area have been contaminated as a result of the flood.
He stated that the community leaders have to device means of separating the IDPs from the camp to neighboring houses for fear of outbreak of diseases.
"For fear of outbreak of several diseases, we have no choice than to separate the IDPs and spread them across neighboring houses to squat with them. Our community members are drinking water with cows and other animals in the streams, all our water sources have been contaminated by the flood.
"We are calling on both the local, state and federal governments to quickly intervene, we see eminent cholera and other waterborne diseases coming soon as a result of the flood.
