Gold prices declined in Pakistan on Friday, following losses in the international market. The price per tola dropped by Rs900 during the day. It settled at Rs454,862 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold also recorded a decrease. It fell by Rs772 to reach Rs389,970. The rates were shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.

A day earlier, gold prices had moved in the opposite direction. On Thursday, per tola gold rose by Rs2,200. It closed at Rs455,762 at that time.
Meanwhile, international gold prices also weakened. The global rate declined by $9 per ounce. It reached $4,325 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices also followed the downward trend in the local market. The price per tola dropped by Rs52. It settled at Rs6,848 per tola.
