Walker County detectives, along with agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, are investigating a homicide late Thursday night, Oct. 31, in Chickamauga.
Sheriff Steve Wilson said a 911 call was received around midnight reporting an emergency at 1694 Johnson Road. When deputies arrived, they found a man had been fatally shot. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Dakota Austin Bottomlee, lived at the residence.
