CHADBOURN, N.C. (WECT) - Several customers in Columbus County are under a boil water advisory after local contractors plowed into one of the water lines.
Areas affected include Old Cribbtown Road from F. M. Cartret Road to Peacock Road.
Customers may experience water quality issues, such as discolored water, and should call 910-770-2158 to report concerns.
The system is expected to clear within the next 24 hours.
Water used for consumption should be boiled until further notice.
