When the tectonic integration area moves below the northwest of the Pacific Ocean, it does it in an exciting way. Now, a new study in the geographic indicates that a "really large one" can also lead to a large earthquake in California.

Once they have so far used the turbidite events up and down on the coast, they found another surprise. In the north -captured cores and south Cape Mendosino, more than half of the turbide was deposited at the same time, as part of the radioactive carbon dating error. The researchers felt that it was a lot of coincidence and should be due to a common cause.
After excluding other imaginable interpretations, they were left with the realization that the first unit of each double in Nuwaiu Canyon was a disturbing stream that was launched by a large earthquake on the huge Cascadia. The second unit of Doublet, then, was the result of movement in the nearby San Andreas.
"Lightbulb continued and we realized that Noio might have been recording Cascadia's earthquakes, and that CASCADIA's sites are at a similar distance, may have been recording San Andreas earthquakes," says Goldenger. Well, what if Cascadi came out and sparked a weak disturbing stream near San Andreas, then San Andreas set out later and trampled a very rough sandy deposit.

Consecutive risks
The timing between the earthquakes is uncertain, as the upper turbidite turbidite could have eroded the deposits between complications. However, in some of the turbidite deposits, the researchers saw evidence that the second unit of double was deposited within minutes or hours of the first, which raised the possibility that the entire US Pacific coast could have almost a large earthquake at almost simultaneously.
The possible effect of such a series of earthquakes raises questions about preparing for this range of danger to people's lives and infrastructure.
