James E. Honan the founder has stepped down, which seems to be final. It's clear that Mike Balkin, who has the capital, has taken full control of the company. At this point, James is likely serving as interim CEO, and merger details should be coming soon. We don't yet know who the merger partner will be, but we know James prefers a merger over a buyout. In the past, James structured several merger attempts that didn't work out. In the last PR release, he mentioned working on other opportunities, which led us to believe there is another merger to replace the one he terminated.

Mike Balkin recently served as CEO and Director of Foresight Acquisition Corporation, where he led a merger with a $2.2 billion private healthcare company.
