Argyle Town Council approved Holtman Designworks for the design of town hall renovations consisting of four phases not to exceed $14,900.
The plan was approved unanimously at the Jan. 21 meeting.
The overview
The renovations will include replacing the carpet in all the rooms, changing the lights and repainting the rooms.
The cost of design was broken down into categories with $10,000 going to architectural schematic design development including:Additionally, a topography survey around the existing facility will cost $2,400 and a grading and drainage plan will cost $2,500.

Phase one of the design plan upgrades the exterior of the town hall as well as starting renovations on the interior, per town documents.
The plans for the exterior involve regrading around the building and redirecting water away from the building's foundation. This will require that flower beds, irrigation lines and grass areas are displaced and will need new landscape installed for erosion control, according to town documents.
