Valero Energy Corporation specializes in refining and distributing petroleum products. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - refining and wholesale distribution of oil products (94.3%): distilled products (46.7% of sales), gasoline (45.1%) and other (8.3%; primarily petrochemical products, diesel, petroleum coke and asphalt). At the end of 2023, the group had 15 petroleum refineries located in the United States (13), Canada and the United Kingdom; - distribution of ethanol (3.1%); - production of renewable diesel (2.6%). Net sales break down geographically as follows: the United States (72%), the United Kingdom and Ireland (11.2%), Canada (7%), Mexico and Peru (4.4%) and other (5.4%).
