Former AEW star Ricky Starks made his debut with WWE under the NXT umbrella just days ago, mere days following his ability to make the jump. He wasn't given much time to talk about the big move, instead cutting a short but sweet promo that more or less served to announce his arrival.
It was a good teaser for what's next.
Speaking of teasers, he dropped another today (Sat., Feb. 15, 2025) that aired during the Vengeance Day premium live event from Washington D.C.:
"The hottest free agent shocked the world last week when I appeared on NXT. Tonight, it's Vengeance Day, and I'm going to be watching on Peacock. And I know you probably are wondering 'what's next?' Well, I've got the answer for you. This Tuesday, live on NXT, in the middle of that ring I'm going to be signing my official NXT contract, and then you're going to have the absolute truth from the man himself."
That sure sounds like they want to capitalize on fans wanting to hear his side of the split with AEW, or at least as much as NXT is going to allow him to say.
