Helio Castroneves is a world class driver. He's proven that by winning the Indianapolis 500 a record-tying four times.
But can the Brazilian make the crossover from open wheel racing to NASCAR Cup in his first start in the Daytona 500?
We'll find out Sunday (1 p.m., CT FOX) in the 67th annual Great American Race when Castroneves takes advantage of a new NASCAR rule designed to give "world-class drivers" an automatic berth in the Daytona 500, making it the largest field since 2015.
Castroneves, who didn't have to qualify on speed and relied on NASCAR's Open Exemption Provisional to receive a spot in the field, will start from the 41st position in row 21, which is dead last.
According to the exemption provisional, Castroneves is not eligible for prize money or points in the 200-lap race.
Along with the FOX national broadcast the Daytona 500 streaming options include the FOX Sports app and FUBO, which offers a free trial to potential subscribers.
Along with winning the Indianapolis 500 (2001, 2002, 2009 and 2021), Castroneves is a thee-time winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Castroneves finished 20th in the 2024 Indy 500 and has already announced he will attempt to win his fifth Indy 500 on May 25.
Ahead of the Daytona 500, Castroneves finished 22nd in the Daytona Duels No. 1 race on Thursday.
Castroneves was running seventh in the qualifying race when he got caught up in a wreck involving Chandler Smith, Justin Haley and Ty Gibbs.
The crash, in which Gibbs clipped Castroneves while trying to avoid hitting Smith's car, left Castroneves' car with damage to the right side. Castroneves tried to get his car back to pit lane but lost control on the apron and spun into the outside wall.
