I thought Sarah Rahal's article "Tips for navigating senior care options in Mass." (Metro, Aug. 18) was excellent, providing much-needed information for so many in the community.
I have worked with the elderly in various capacities for more than 20 years, and I have witnessed family after family trying to provide the proper care for a loved one and having to reinvent the wheel each time. It is so frustrating for families, particularly those with a loved one living with dementia, to try to find the resources to determine the appropriate level of care.
