Aviation history is peppered with iconic aircraft, from the Douglas DC series to the Lockheed Electras and Constellations, and even of course, the Concorde. I certainly would have liked to fly Concorde, but I missed the boat on that. However, probably my biggest heartache is the loss of the one and only Antonov An-225. I appreciate flying anywhere on it would likely not have been possible, but I do wish I'd had a chance to see the big beast in person. What's your favorite aircraft that is no longer with us?
