The Tennessee Titans have an early injury concern during their Week 15 game versus the Cincinnati Bengals, as running back Tony Pollard is dealing with an injury in the first half.
Pollard was on the injury report with an ankle issue this week and didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday before logging a limited practice on Friday and drawing a questionable tag ahead of Sunday's kickoff.
After testing his ankle out pregame, Pollard was given the green light to play, but it appears he's not 100% after tallying seven carries for 27 yards early on. Here's the latest on Pollard's status in the Week 15 game.
According to the television broadcast, Pollard was spotted on the sideline limping and getting checked out by trainers. There hasn't been an official status update as of this writing, but we'll make sure to update this page when more is known.
Prior to his exit from the game, Pollard had seven carries for 27 yards, and he scored the game's first touchdown from three yards out. The Titans running back entered the day needing just 63 rushing yards to reach 1,000 for the third straight season.
Tennessee signed Pollard to a three-year, $21.75 million contract during the offseason to replace running back Derrick Henry, who departed in free agency to the Baltimore Ravens. Pollard has been about as good as the Titans possibly could've hoped for and he's been worth every penny in Year 1.
