Alfalite, Europe's sole LED screen manufacturer, has launched MATIX AlfaCOB and AlfaMIP technology for high-resolution and high-brightness applications, according to a press release.
MATIX technology is an evolution of Alfalite's ORIM technology and involves encapsulating LED modules with multiple layers of protective and optical materials and covering the PCB surface with flip-chip-mounted LED diodes; the process is designed to reduce glare and reflection, increase impact and chemical resistance along with liquid protection, expand ESD protection and thermal dissipation and provide greater uniformity of color and luminance.
The launch occurred at Alfalite's Huelva, Spain factory, and included nearly 90 global Alfalite partners.
