The 2026 Chevy Silverado EV represents the third model year for the fully electric full-size pickup, introducing several changes, including a revised trim level lineup, the arrival of the Trail Boss variant, new appearance packages as well as three new paint colors.
One of those hues is Magnus Gray Matte Metallic, identified by color code GBL and touch-up paint number WA-234K. It's exclusive to the Trail Boss variant and costs an extra $3,995. It's part of a nine-color palette for the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV, which includes:

* Magnus Gray Matte Metallic (new for 2026)
* Polar White Tricoat (new for 2026)
* Riptide Blue Metallic

Magnus Gray Matte Metallic, Polar White Tricoat and White Sands indirectly replace Zephyr Blue Matte Metallic, which was available for the 2025 model year only. Magnus Gray Matte is offered in conjunction with the Trail Boss' sole interior colorway, Black / Artemis, with Evotex simulated leather seat upholstery.

Other 2026 Chevy Silverado EV changes include driving range rating increases, as the Work Truck Max Range variant boasts a range up to 493 miles on a full charge. A new Digital Key is available, but the WT variants lose Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. However, the big news is the discontinuation of last year's range-topping RST trim level in favor of the new off-road focused Trail Boss.
The latter features a two-inch suspension lift, 35-inch all-terrain tires, an exclusive Terrain drive mode, the Sidewinder mode allowing the truck to move diagonally via its four-wheel steering system, along with two battery pack capacities with a maximum range of 410 or 478 miles on a full charge. Its dual-motor setup develops an output of up to 725 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque.
The Silverado EV rides on the GM BT1 all-electric truck platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Hamtramck, Michigan. Pricing starts at $54,895 for the entry-level WT, while the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss starts at $72,095, the electric pickup's 2026 model-year configurator is live on Chevy's website.
