The at-times-uncertain fate of the building that once served as Gwinnett County's first public library has been settled, The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation announced this week.
The Trust reached an agreement with Norcross officials which will result in the city buying the old Norcross Woman's Club building for $450,000 with historic district protections in place to ensure its preservation. The sale ends a battle between the Trust and the city over the building's future.
