Storms wreak havoc on Dodge County businesses, leaving extensive damage but no injuries

DODGE COUNTY (WLUK) -- A number of industrial businesses in Dodge County were not spared from the storms that went through Thursday night.

Off of S. Clark Street in Mayville, the evidence of a strong storm is jarring.

Crews are out Friday assessing the damage at Mayville Engineering Company, Gleason Real and Seneca.

Luckily no employees were injured when walls were ripped off, roofs damaged and vehicles crushed by debris.

The mayor of Horicon tells FOX 11, he believes this was the cause of a tornado.

Several tornadoes touched down Thursday in central Wisconsin, at least one confirmed in Dodge County. None of the twisters have received ratings yet.

The National Weather Service is out surveying the damage Friday and have not confirmed if a tornado is what in fact caused the damage near S. Clark Street.

And in nearby Horicon, crews are out cleaning up debris at River Bend Park and Horicon Hills Golf Course.
